BPA is seeking an Intermediate Electrical CAD/Revit Operator to join our drafting team in Edmonton. The role emphasizes independent decision-making and professional conduct in electrical design and drafting within an engineering environment.

Applicants should have a Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or EDT, and be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/ACC. Building Systems experience and PM knowledge are highly regarded, with a focus on team collaboration and client

Qualifications

• Requires Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology (EDDT) or EDT, BIM Management diploma desirable.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD for all duties.
• Experience with BIM 360/ACC, Navisworks, Revizto, Fieldwire, Bluebeam.
• Strong MS Office knowledge.
• Experience in Building Systems industry as EDDT/EDT.
• Ability to coordinate and exercise functional authority on projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or modify drawings and markups from site surveys and instructions.
• Coordinate with designers and other consultants for drawing reviews.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination on projects with limited supervision.
• Maintain high quality service and project documentation.
• Update project manager on issues affecting clients or timelines.
• Stay current with AutoCAD/REVIT and related programs.
