Job summary

BPA is seeking an Intermediate Electrical CAD/Revit Operator to join our drafting team in Edmonton. The role emphasizes independent decision-making and professional conduct in electrical design and drafting within an engineering environment.

Applicants should have a Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or EDT, and be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/ACC. Building Systems experience and PM knowledge are highly regarded, with a focus on team collaboration and client

Qualifications

Requires Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology (EDDT) or EDT, BIM Management diploma desirable.
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD for all duties.
Experience with BIM 360/ACC, Navisworks, Revizto, Fieldwire, Bluebeam.
Strong MS Office knowledge.
Experience in Building Systems industry as EDDT/EDT.
Ability to coordinate and exercise functional authority on projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare or modify drawings and markups from site surveys and instructions.
Coordinate with designers and other consultants for drawing reviews.
Ensure effective communication and coordination on projects with limited supervision.
Maintain high quality service and project documentation.
Update project manager on issues affecting clients or timelines.
Stay current with AutoCAD/REVIT and related programs.
