Job summary

Dock Products Canada in Mississauga, Ontario is seeking a Construction Estimator to support projects across Western Canada. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for loading dock equipment, dock levelers, doors and safety accessories for both new construction and retrofit projects.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Operations, and Project Management to deliver accurate bids. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of estimating experience in construction or industrial equipment, strong reading of

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction, industrial equipment, building products, or estimating experience.
• Reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates.

Responsibilities

• Estimating & Proposal Development: prepare detailed cost estimates for loading dock equipment and related solutions for new construction and retrofit projects.
• Project Support: collaborate with Sales, Operations, Project Management and Installation teams; assist with scope reviews and change orders.
• Customer & Contractor Relations: respond to inquiries and liaise with general contractors and end-users.
• Continuous Improvement: maintain estimating records and monitor industry trends to improve accuracy.
