Job summary

EllisDon in London, ON is seeking an Indirect Tax Analyst to support sales tax compliance across invoices and payments. You will review invoices, prepare and file sales tax returns, and assist internal teams with tax questions.

The ideal candidate has sales tax experience, excellent written and spoken communication, and strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. You will aid audits and keep pace with changing tax laws.

Qualifications

• You have relevant Sales Tax experience.
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• You are a well-organized, proactive and detail-oriented individual able to self-manage and work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
• You possess strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel.
• You are able to work at the office located in London, ON.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices and payments for sales tax compliance

• Conduct technical sales tax research
• Keep current with sales tax legislative and administrative changes and communicate any impact to the organization
• Ensure internal processes surrounding tax compliance are adhered to
• Assist with the month-end close and year-end audit processes
