Job summary

ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Project Manager (Indigenous Partnerships) to lead complex environmental projects across Canada, with a focus on Indigenous engagement. Based in BC with consideration for Calgary, AB, the role emphasizes governance, client collaboration, and multidisciplinary leadership to deliver schedule‑driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of consulting experience in environmental or related technical disciplines.
• Experience in the mining and/or energy sector.
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage environmental scopes of work.
• Detailed oriented with strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while aligning with internal governance and direction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Lead routine client communications to clarify needs, objectives, and progress.
• Manage projects from proposal development through reporting while following ERM governance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality project outputs.
• Track budgets, complete invoicing and apply ERM financial management processes.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Support proposal development and cost estimation.
• Identify and support business development opportunities that strengthen client base.
