Job summary

ʼNa̱mg̱is First Nation is seeking a Housing Manager to oversee the Nation’s housing portfolio, manage budgets and funding agreements, and support the Housing Committee. You will supervise the Housing Officer and Housing Maintenance Worker to ensure effective and responsive housing services.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting acumen, and knowledge of on-reserve housing programs in BC, with on-site responsibilities across maintenance, policy, and capital projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in First Nations housing, property management, asset management, construction, or a related field, including budgeting and contractor oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Housing Department, including tenancy administration, waitlist, allocations, move-ins/outs, rent reviews, arrears, and dispute resolution.
