Job summary

Namgis Business Development Corp in British Columbia is seeking a Housing Maintenance Worker to support maintenance for Na̱mg̱is First Nation homes, reporting to the Housing Manager. You will liaise with the Housing Manager and Clerk on maintenance requests, review tenant housing care, and assist with records, inspections, and on-call support.

The position requires Grade 12, a valid driver’s license, and a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector search.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Word or related software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in general building maintenance or trades is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Housing Manager and Clerk to coordinate maintenance requests.
• Work with tenants to review housing care and lead maintenance processes, including risk assessments and inspections.
• Maintain records, filings, and related administrative duties.
