Job summary

Bridgepoint Maintenance is seeking an on-call plumber for field work in Thorold, Ontario. This remote-position requires you to be located in Canada and available to attend local offices or trainings if requested.

You will handle residential service calls independently, diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues and protecting homes from water damage. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of paid plumbing experience, strong troubleshooting skills, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of paid plumbing experience.
• Able to diagnose and complete service calls independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to protect homes from water damage during repairs.
• Knows when work falls outside approved scope and should be escalated.
• Communicates professionally with customers and the operations team.
• Own reliable vehicle and plumbing tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose leaks and locate source.
• Repair toilets, faucets, sinks, valves, drains and lines.
• Replace plumbing fixtures and common components.
• Make water connections for dishwashers and laundry.
• Inspect systems for additional concerns.
• Test repairs and document work orders.
• Photograph completed work and update records.
• Travel between scheduled service appointments.
