Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care Career Center in Calgary, Alberta, seeks an Alberta-certified teacher to join our support services team as an IPP teacher. You will write and manage IPPs and collaborate with classroom teams to support children with individualized needs.

Key responsibilities include IPP creation, family and professional collaboration, documentation of plans and referrals, and building trusting relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education and Alberta Teaching Certificate (interim or permanent) are required.
• Experience in inclusive education and neurodiversity is valued.
• Comfort with play-based learning and child-led exploration.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage Individual Program Plans (IPPs) tailored to each child's developmental goals.
• Collaborate with families, therapists, educational assistants, and other professionals to ensure each child’s success.
• Build trusting relationships with children, caregivers, and team members.
• Complete essential documentation: IPPs, transition plans, and referrals.
