Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Logistics Supervisor, the Inbound Logistics Coordinator is responsible for executing and monitoring all freight unit movements between warehouses and Dollarama’s distribution center.

They will also carry out daily tasks assigned by their supervisor, such as monitoring transportation movements, consolidating/verifying/analyzing data, reporting and resolving issues, etc.

Key Accountabilities

• Monitor and control the movement of Dollarama trailers (yard management) between various buildings and within each yard.
• Perform all entry operations activities at Warehouse 6, including arrivals and departures, updating inventory, reporting, coordinating maintenance, and managing equipment.
• Coordinate inspection, maintenance, and inventory of trailers.
• Communicate with all stakeholders to ensure trailers arrive in adequate numbers, at appropriate times, and to correct destinations.
• Monitor and control performance indicators such as transport time, transfers per hour, and equipment movements.
• Resolve issues promptly and escalate when necessary.
• Support yard activities as needed.
• Follow up with warehouses on issues and issue dispositions for empty containers according to directives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date system information.
• Follow SOPs and complete reports as required.

Job Requirements

• College diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and email; SAP is an asset.
• Experience in retail or supply chain logistics is an asset.
