Bilingual Logistics Coordinator

Overseeing and facilitating the supply chain operations of our company, you will coordinate personnel and processes to ensure the effective distribution of goods. The goal is to maintain smooth operations across various channels, aiming for maximum efficiency. This role involves collaboration within a team environment, with responsibilities focused on enhancing customer and carrier experiences. The duties listed below outline the primary responsibilities of the position.

Primary Responsibilities of Logistics Coordinator:

  • Negotiate freight rates with carriers for domestic and cross-border TL and LTL shipments.
  • Source and evaluate carriers.
  • Respond promptly to spot quotes and customer requests.
  • Be available after hours to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and customers.
  • Utilize Greenscreens for carrier bids, customer quotes, and lane research.
  • Ensure carriers are qualified in RMIS.
  • Perform duties with urgency and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide solutions to customers.
  • Organize the Spot email inbox for visibility and accessibility.
  • Transition spot quote customers into dedicated accounts.
  • Work on increasing win percentage daily.
  • Follow up with customers for additional lanes and opportunities.
  • Identify and address areas of weakness.
  • Collaborate with leadership and business development teams to develop compliant cost/price strategies and proposals.
  • Create customer proposals.
  • Maintain professional communication with managers during RFQ processes to ensure optimal pricing.
  • Research market trends and competitor pricing.
  • Maintain and improve pricing strategies and costs.
  • Handle all Greenscreens activities, including rates and customer quotes.
  • Improve margins through various methods.
  • Identify weaknesses and enhance performance through carrier procurement.
  • Communicate market insights to relevant teams within set timeframes.
  • Upload carrier and customer rates into the TM system.
