Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to join our community pharmacy team in British Columbia. The role focuses on vaccination services, travel health, and managing care for patients with hypertension and diabetes.

You will collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver comprehensive nursing services, welcome patients professionally, and educate on device use such as glucometers and blood pressure monitors. Canadian nursing licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec.
• Hold a DCS or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Be familiar with the PIQ (Protocole d’immunisation du Québec — Québec immunization protocol) and travel health.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status and provide vaccines such as influenza and herpes zoster.
• Identify vaccines based on travel destination.
• Offer services related to hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia and anticoagulant therapy.
• Provide instruction on the use of devices such as glucometers and blood pressure monitors.
• Welcome patients in a professional and caring manner.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to develop nursing services.
