Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Canada is hiring a nurse to support vaccination services and patient health management within a community pharmacy setting.

The role focuses on vaccines (influenza, travel vaccines, herpes zoster) and chronic disease support, collaborating with the pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed nurse, hold a nursing degree, and be familiar with Quebec immunization protocols and travel health considerations.

Qualificações

• Be a member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec.
• Hold a DCS or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Be familiar with the PIQ (Protocole d’immunisation du Québec — Québec immunization protocol) and travel health.

Responsabilidades

• Assess health status and provide appropriate vaccines such as influenza and herpes zoster.
• Identify and offer appropriate vaccines based on the travel destination.
• Offer various services related to hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia and anticoagulant therapy.
• Provide instruction on the use of different devices such as glucometers, blood pressure monitors etc.
• Welcome patients in a professional and caring manner.
• Work with the pharmacy team to develop the nursing service offering.
