Accor is seeking a detail-oriented Food & Beverage Associate to support the Fairmont Château Laurier outlets in Ottawa. You will deliver food and beverages, assist guests with menu selections, and ensure accurate order setup.

The role requires strong English and French communication, reliable teamwork, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Previous culinary and F&B service experience is essential, with Smart Serve certification.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the culinary field is required.
• Previous Food & Beverage service experience is required.
• Previous Point of Sale System experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in both official languages (English & French).
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities are essential.
• Highly responsible and reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
• Ability to focus on guest needs while staying calm and courteous.

Reporting to the Outlets Leadership Team, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Have full knowledge of all beverage lists
• Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner
• Pick up orders efficiently from the kitchen
• Check outgoing orders for quality and accuracy of set up
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Other duties as assigned
