Job summary

Alberta Health Services seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver a broad range of nursing services in clients' homes and community settings within Calgary. You will conduct assessments, coordinate care, and provide direct nursing support with a family-centered, person-focused approach.

The role emphasizes leadership in integrated care, teaching, advocacy and health promotion. Provisional permits are paid at a transitional rate, with full practice permits aligning to UNA classifications.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with CRNA.
• Current BCLS-HCP certification.
• 1-2 years recent Home Care or Community experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessments, case coordination and direct care to clients in home or community settings.
• Coordinate and deliver quality client- and family-centered care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Report to the Home Care Manager and adapt services based on client response to interventions.
• Utilize person-centered care to support health and self-care goals and maintain safety.
