Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Home Living team serving clients in their homes across Edmonton. You will assess needs, plan care with the multidisciplinary team and deliver nursing interventions within professional standards.

Responsibilities include case management, patient education, and coordination of resources. The role supports geriatric clients and collaborates with family and other care partners in community settings.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with CRNA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• Two years of recent nursing experience or completion of a refresher within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families and communities.
• Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking and decision making.
• Teach, counsel and advocate for patients and families.
• Lead in an integrated and holistic approach to patient care and health promotion.
