Job summary

Michael Garron Hospital (MGH) in Toronto is seeking a strategic IMT Project Manager to lead technology-driven transformation across hospital operations and patient care. You will manage IT projects, drive adoption of new systems, and ensure smooth integration of critical clinical applications.

The role requires 5+ years in IT project management within healthcare, strong stakeholder and change-management skills, and collaboration with HR, Finance and Clinical teams. PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT project management experience, ideally in healthcare.

We’re looking for a strategic and dynamic IMT Project Manager to lead technology-driven transformation at MGH. Reporting to the IMT Project Director, you will oversee IT projects that enhance hospital operations, improve patient care, and streamline system integrations. Working closely with hospital stakeholders, IMT team, and vendors, you’ll ensure the seamless implementation of cutting-edge healthcare technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead & manage clinical technology projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring alignment with MGH’s strategic goals.
• Drive technology adoption, introducing new systems and enhancing existing ones.
• Oversee integration of critical hospital IT systems, ensuring smooth transitions and interoperability.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with hospital departments, vendors, and stakeholders to define technical and functional requirements.
• Develop operational policies & procedures to support IT system sustainability.
• Assess and optimize hospital-wide technology services for improved efficiency.

Education

• Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business or Hospital Administration
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred
• Clinical experience is an asset.
