Implementation Specialist / Business Analyst

Reporting to the Manager of Professional Services, the successful individual will work closely with customers to understand their business requirements, configure the CityView software solution to meet those requirements, and deliver training to clients to ensure value creation. This is a fully remote position; travel to client sites across the U.S. and Canada may be required.

What You’ll Do
- Define and document customer business requirements; interpret and apply information within the project's scope.
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into functional specifications using CityView processes.
- Identify gaps between client needs and system capabilities.
- Facilitate discovery sessions; document business requirements, use cases, and pain points.
- Configure the software with workflows and business rules; this is not a developer role.
- Work with Data Conversion Specialists for legacy data transition.
- Conduct remote and classroom training sessions for end-users.
- Become an expert on the software’s functionality; respond to client queries and communicate enhancement requests.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve client issues during implementation and feedback.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Data Conversion Specialists, QA, Technical Support, and other Business Analysts.
A Day In The Life
- Receive weekly project goals from the Project Manager.
- Engage with clients, source and compile data, configure and test software, deliver solutions, and address client feedback.
What We’re Looking For
- Highly focused, accountable, and able to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of local government processes preferred.
- 5+ years of software configuration/end-user training experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and business analysis skills.
- Understanding of licensing and permit processes or similar.
- Post-secondary education in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills; professional customer-facing demeanor.
- Ability to travel up to 15% within Canada and the USA.
What Makes You Stand Out

- Knowledge of database applications and MS SQL Reporting Services or similar.
