Implementation Specialist / Business Analyst

Join to apply for the Implementation Specialist / Business Analyst role at Harris Computer.

Location: CityView (Remote, with travel to U.S. and Canada as needed)

Position Overview: Reporting to the Manager of Professional Services, you will work closely with customers to understand their business requirements, configure the CityView software, and deliver training to ensure value creation. This is a fully remote position with potential travel.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and define customer business requirements.
• Map processes and identify gaps between client needs and system capabilities.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and document requirements and pain points.
• Configure software workflows and business rules (not a developer role).
• Coordinate legacy data conversion with specialists.
• Conduct end-user training in remote and classroom settings.
• Become an expert on the software to respond to client queries and suggest enhancements.
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues during implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Managers, Data Conversion Specialists, and QA.

Daily Tasks:

• Engage with clients and source data requirements.
• Configure software and perform QA testing.
• Deliver solutions and act on client feedback.
• Update internal tracking systems.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software configuration/end-user training experience preferred.
• Experience with local government processes and licensing/permitting.
• Strong analytical, business analysis, and process mapping skills.
• Post-secondary education in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15% within Canada and the U.S.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with permitting processes.
• Knowledge of database applications and MS SQL Reporting Services.
