Overview
Reporting to the Manager of Professional Services, the successful individual will work closely with customers to understand their business requirements, configure the CityView software solution to meet those requirements, and deliver training to ensure value creation. This is a fully remote position; travel to client sites across the U.S. and Canada may be required.

Responsibilities
- Define and document customer business requirements within project scope.
- Analyze client needs and translate into functional specifications using CityView processes.
- Identify gaps between client needs and system capabilities.
- Facilitate discovery sessions; document requirements, use cases, and pain points.
- Configure software workflows and business rules; this is not a development role.
- Coordinate with Data Conversion Specialists for legacy data transition.
- Conduct end-user training in remote and classroom settings.
- Become an expert on software functionality; respond to client queries and suggest enhancements.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues during implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Managers, Data Conversion Specialists, QA, Technical Support, and other Business Analysts.
A Day in the Life
- Receive weekly project goals from the Project Manager.
- Engage with clients, gather data requirements, configure software, and perform QA testing.
- Deliver solutions, act on client feedback, and update tracking systems.
Qualifications
- Highly focused, accountable, with the ability to prioritize and handle uncertainty.
- Experience or knowledge of local government processes.
- 5+ years in software configuration and / or end-user training preferred.
- Strong analytical, business process, and documentation skills.
- Understanding of licensing and permit processes or similar.
- Post-secondary education in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel up to 15% within Canada and the U.S.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with permitting processes.
- Knowledge of database applications and MS SQL Reporting Services or similar.
