Implementation Specialist / Business Analyst

Join to apply for the Implementation Specialist / Business Analyst role at Harris Computer.

This position is based in CityView and reports to the Manager of Professional Services. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to understand their business requirements, configure the CityView software accordingly, and deliver training to ensure value creation. This is a fully remote role with possible travel to client sites across the U.S. and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and translate them into software configurations and workflows.
• Conduct discovery sessions, document requirements, and perform gap analysis.
• Configure software to meet client specifications, including data migration and process automation.
• Train end-users remotely and in classroom settings.
• Act as a software expert, respond to client inquiries, and suggest enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, data specialists, and support analysts.

Daily Activities

• Engage with clients, gather data requirements, and configure software.
• Test configurations, deliver solutions, and incorporate client feedback.
• Update project tracking systems and report progress.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software configuration and/or end-user training.
• Strong business analysis skills, process mapping, and gap analysis experience.
• Knowledge of local government processes and licensing/permitting workflows.
• Post-secondary education in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to travel up to 15% within Canada and the USA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with permitting processes and database applications.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Reporting Services or similar tools.
