Lifemark Health Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist for the Pickering Physiotherapy Clinic in Pickering, Ontario. This permanent full-time role focuses on comprehensive OT services for clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries, within a large national network.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and opportunities for growth across clinics and leadership positions.

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists in your province.
• 1-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred.
• Newly Licensed Graduates are accepted.
• Valid Driver's License may be required.
• Bilingualism - French and English are assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based OT services to clients.
• Apply clinical expertise in assessment, intervention, case management, and discharge planning.
• Perform clinical evaluations, including admission and ADL assessments.
• Identify equipment needs and initiate recommendations.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment trials and funding letters.
• Educate on seating, independence in ADLs, wheelchairs and adaptive devices.
• Monitor restraint use, wound prevention, falls and injury prevention.
• Document assessments and interventions in the client chart.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
• Exhibit sound professional judgment.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal comms

Knowledge of OT standards, modalities

Bilingualism (French & English) assets

Valid Driver's License may be required

Education
