Back in Motion Rehab Inc. is seeking an Employment Placement Specialist (Job Developer) for full-time work in the Sea-to-Sky corridor. The role supports job-ready clients by connecting them to opportunities, developing leads, and marketing WorkBC services across Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, and Mt.

Currie. The candidate will conduct orientations, pre-screens, mock interviews, and liaise with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma in human services or equivalent social services experience.
• Two years’ recent experience in instruction or job-search assistance.
• Valid BC driver’s license and ability to commute across the Sea-to-Sky corridor.
• Must pass a criminal record background check.
• Strong communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct orientations, information sessions, and pre-screens client eligibility for programs.
• Provide information on community resources and WorkBC services.
• Maintain client records and documentation in ICM and grecords.
• Coordinate job search activities and employer engagements.
• Support job-ready clients with interview preparation and coaching.
• Plan and participate in WorkBC hiring fairs in Whistler and Squamish.
