Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Post-secondary courses in Early Childhood Development, Educational Assistant, Personal Care Aide, or similar areas are assets.
• Training in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Physical Assault Response is an asset.
• Experience with high-need children and various emotional needs is an asset.
• Experience with Pre-Kindergarten children is an asset.
• Ability to support medical needs, occupational/physical therapy, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring, and transportation as required could be needed.
• First Aid/CPR would be an asset.
• Possess a current and valid driver’s license.
