Job summary

Recruiting In Motion - Eastern Ontario is seeking an IFRS Specialist for an 18-month contract. You will partner with external consultants to manage the IFRS transition and redesign financial reporting to align with IFRS.

The role focuses on asset componentization under IFRS, and you will oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes, assisting with the year-end audit. A CPA designation and 7+ years of IFRS experience are required.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• At least 7 years of professional accounting experience under IFRS.
• Experience with year-end close and audits is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with external consultants on the IFRS transition.
• Redevelop and redesign financial reporting to align with IFRS.
• Focus on the componentization of assets under IFRS.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes in IFRS.
• Assist with the year-end audit and ad hoc duties as assigned.
