Job summary

• Act as the technical accounting expert on IFRS research and interpretation.
• Oversee purchase price allocations and coordinate with external auditors.

Our client is one of Canada's large publicly traded company and are experiencing continuous and rapid growth. As a result, they are looking to add a Manager, Financial Reporting to their External Reporting Group. As Manager, Financial Reporting, you will serve as the key technical person for their team and be responsible for purchase price allocations, deal with the Auditors and be the specialist with regards to Technical Accounting Matters (IFRS research).

In addition, you will be responsible for the preparation of the Notes to the Financials, MD&A and Variance Analysis.

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• CPA is mandatory
• Public Accounting experience (at least 6 years total experience from the firm with at least 1 year experience as a manager)
• Experienced with IFRS - complex

**This is a role where you will be required to work hybrid consisting of 2-3 days a week in office
