Harris is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager in Ottawa to own quarterly IFRS reporting deliverables, including notes, consolidated cash flows, PPAs, and NTA workbooks. You will review, escalate, and ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines, while guiding junior team members and supporting auditors.

The role requires CPA designation, IFRS expertise, and strong analytical and communication skills, with collaboration across business units and finance teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with quarter-end reporting.
• CPA designation and IFRS expertise.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-unit coordination.
• Proficiency with financial software and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the preparation and review of quarterly IFRS reporting deliverables (notes, cash flows, PPAs, NTA workbooks).
• Act as review/escalation point for owned areas, ensuring quality and completeness.
• Perform detailed second reviews of workpapers, reconciliations, and checks.
• Coordinate with business unit finance teams for inputs at quarter-end.
• Support consolidation of financial results across the group.
• Collaborate with internal/external auditors and respond to queries.
