Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Granby, QC is seeking an Accountant/ comptable to join our finance team. The role involves IFRS-based accounting, SAP-driven journal entries, and close processes. English is required with French preferred. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of accounting experience and hands-on IFRS knowledge.

You will prepare monthly financial statements, assist with quarter-end footnotes, and support sales tax filings and audits, contributing to intercompany reconciliations and reporting to HQ.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Experience with month-end closing and financial statements.
• Experience with intercompany transactions.
• English is required; French is preferred.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and Canada/Quebec tax law.

Responsibilities

• Book journal entries in SAP based on IFRS.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting to HQ.
• Prepare quarter-end closing package footnotes.
• Categorize transactions by CoA and handle intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare and file sales tax returns, and assist with audits.
