Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable
• Manage accounts receivable
• Bank Reconciliations
• GST/QST preparation and filing
• Manage the month-end accounting cycle and the preparation of financial statements
• Perform revisions of accounts and balance sheet items for year-end audit
• Participate in the improvement of existing procedures and processes
• Raise problems to the financial controller and suggest solutions
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial standards, and government rules/regulations
• Perform account reconciliation of G/L accounts
• Perform Ad hoc requests

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in an accounting department
• BAC in Accounting or Commerce
• ERP system
• Detail-oriented
• Team Player
• Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, especially MS Excel
• Perfectly bilingual (French an absolute must)
