Akkodis is seeking a Junior Identity Access Management Consultant to support sustainment, modernization, and operational support of large-scale IAM and PKI environments in an onsite Toronto setting. The engagement spans development to production with modernization initiatives, disaster recovery planning, and strong emphasis on operational excellence and documentation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IAM sustainment across administration, operations, support, patching, monitoring.
• Experience with large enterprise IAM platforms and PKI technologies.
• Experience with ITIL processes including Change, Incident, Problem, Release and Capacity Management.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise PKI and IAM environments across DEV, TEST, PRE-PROD and PROD.
• Participate in modernization initiatives including platform upgrades and cloud migration.
• Provide operational support, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning for IAM and PKI.
• Support disaster recovery capabilities and operational recovery procedures.
• Document IAM/PKI operations and procedures.
• Oversee PKI system upgrades and modernization deliverables.

Position: Junior Identity Access Management Consultant

Duration: 6 Months assignment (contract)

Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

Note on Assignment Type

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking a Junior Identity Access Management Consultant to support the ongoing sustainment, modernization, integration, and operational support of large-scale Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environments.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience supporting enterprise-grade IAM platforms, PKI technologies, authentication and encryption services, infrastructure components, and mission-critical applications serving large user populations.

Scope

• Support enterprise PKI and Identity Access Management environments across development, testing, Pre-Production, and production environments.
• Participate in modernization initiatives, including platform upgrades, cloud migration activities, directory service modernization, and infrastructure improvements.
• Provide operational support, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for IAM and PKI platforms.
• Support implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery capabilities and operational recovery procedures.
• Identity and Access Management support documentation and operational procedures.
• PKI system upgrades, maintenance plans, and modernization deliverables.
• Disaster Recovery documentation, testing results, and operational procedures.
• System monitoring, alerting, and management frameworks.

Must Have:

• 10+ years’ experience sustaining (e.g., administration, operations, support, patching, monitoring, starting/stopping) COTS based identity and access management systems. At least 4 years’ experience must be related to implementations with over 10,000 registered users.
• 10+ years’ experience designing, developing, deploying, and sustaining large application implementations based on the following technology products: Entrust PKI Suite, Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), LDAP Tools (such as Atos Dir.X, Apache Dir Studio/CLI Commands), Windows Internet Information Server (IIS), Apache HTTPD/IBM Web Server/NGINX, Oracle Web Logic, SQL, Oracle database 11g (and later), Solaris, Windows, AIX and Linux.
• Experience with ITIL processes such as Service Level Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, and Capacity Management.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Oracle Unified Directory (OUD).
• Experience developing operational automation solutions and monitoring frameworks.
• Experience supporting highly regulated and security-sensitive environments.
