Job summary

Kardow is seeking three Seniorx3 Full Stack - Software Developers to support a large-scale modernization effort in Toronto. The role is a 1-year contract with onsite/hybrid work between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on C# / .NET development, including .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and .NET Framework.

• Advanced Angular experience, migrating from AngularJS to modern Angular.
• Solid solution architecture skills (DDD, API-first, event-driven, modular design).
• Deep SQL Server / T-SQL expertise and performance tuning.
• Hands-on Azure experience: App Service, Azure SQL, Storage, Key Vault, Monitor.

Responsibilities

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking three Seniorx3 Full Stack - Software Developer to support a large-scale, multi-year digital modernization and legacy transformation initiative.

The successful consultants will help modernize an established digital ecosystem by progressively decomposing legacy monolithic applications into modular, scalable and interoperable services.

The roles require extensive hands-on expertise with C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, Angular, REST APIs, Microsoft Azure, SQL Server and Azure DevOps, combined with strong application modernization and solution architecture capabilities.

Scope

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core, Angular and JavaScript.
• Modernize legacy .NET applications and progressively decompose monolithic solutions into modular services and APIs.
• Design and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs using modern authentication and authorization practices.
• Develop responsive web applications and support migration from AngularJS to modern Angular.

Assignment Deliverables

• Develop application functionality based on approved business and technical requirements.
• Migrate applications from.NET Framework 4.x to modern .NET / .NET Core.
• Design, develop, integrate and implement secure RESTful APIs.
• Develop modern Angular web applications and migrate legacy AngularJS functionality to Angular.

Expertise Required

Must Have

• 10+ years of hands-on C# / .NET development experience, including .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET Framework 3.5/4.x.
• Strong experience developing modernization roadmaps and executing phased migrations while minimizing business disruption.
• Advanced ASP.NET Core expertise, including REST API development, dependency injection, authentication/authorization and performance optimization.
• Strong experience designing and developing Angular applications, including component-based architecture, responsive UI development, state management and REST service integration.
• Experience migrating AngularJS applications to modern Angular.
• Strong solution architecture and design capabilities, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), API-first design, event-driven architecture, integration patterns and modular architecture.
• Strong REST API development experience, including JWT and OAuth2 authentication and authorization.
• Advanced Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL experience, including stored procedures, views, triggers, indexing, execution plans, query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, including App Service, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Storage, Event Hub, Azure Data Explorer (ADX), Key Vault, Application Insights and Azure Monitor.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and containerization.
• Knowledge of automated testing, code-quality tooling and technical-debt reduction strategies.
• Experience troubleshooting WCF/Web Services, Windows Services, Windows Forms, IIS-hosted applications and/or Tomcat.
