Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Specialized IT Consultant (IBM Maximo Functional Consultant) to lead a large‑scale Maximo Manage implementation for asset management and facilities maintenance from Toronto. You will drive solution design, configuration, data migration, and integration planning with client teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on IBM Maximo configuration experience.

• Deep understanding of Maximo data model: assets, locations, classifications, meters, PM hierarchies.
• Hands-on data migration, legacy EAM to Maximo mapping, validation, reconciliation.

Responsibilities

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Specialized IT Consultant (IBM Maximo Functional Consultant) to provide hands‑on functional consulting, configuration, implementation, and advisory services for a large-scale IBM Maximo Manage implementation supporting enterprise asset management and facilities maintenance operations.

The successful consultant will play a key role in solution design, configuration, data migration, integration planning, testing, go‑live preparation, stabilization, and knowledge transfer activities. This role requires deep expertise in IBM Maximo Manage configuration, work management processes, asset management, preventive maintenance programs, data migration, security, workflow design, and enterprise integrations

Scope

• Provide functional leadership and configuration expertise for IBM Maximo Manage implementation activities.
• Configure and support Maximo Organizations, Sites, Application Designer, Database Configuration, Security Groups, and workflow components.
• Design and validate end-to-end work management processes.
• Support asset, location, classification, meter, preventive maintenance, and job plan configuration activities.
• Maximo Manage design recommendations and configuration decisions.
• Configuration validation findings and build review assessments.
• Fit-gap analysis findings and recommended remediation approaches.
• Workflow, security, reporting, dashboard, and mobile configuration reviews.
• Data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and migration readiness documentation.

Must Have:

• 10+ years of hands‑on IBM Maximo configuration experience, including Organization and Site setup, Application Designer, Database Configuration, Security Groups, and related Maximo administration functions.
• Successfully delivered a minimum of three (3) full‑cycle IBM Maximo implementations as a Maximo Functional/Application Consultant.
• Proven experience configuring end‑to‑end Maximo Work Management processes, including Service Requests, Work Orders, Job Plans, Preventive Maintenance (PM), Work Types, scheduling, execution, and vendor/contractor workflows.
• Deep understanding of the Maximo data model, including Assets, Locations, Classifications, Meters, PM hierarchies, and Job Plan structures.
• Hands‑on experience with data migration activities, including legacy EAM to Maximo mapping, data validation, reconciliation, and migration load support.
• Working knowledge of Maximo integrations with ERP systems and experience developing or reviewing integration specifications.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with MREF/TRIRIGA integrations.
• Experience with mobile work execution solutions.
• Experience developing operational reporting and dashboards.
