Placements24 is seeking an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist in Kimberley to manage user identities and access controls. You will implement, administer, and maintain IAM solutions, including provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, and policy enforcement to protect sensitive data.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in IT or CS and 2–4 years IAM experience, with hands-on work on AD, Azure AD, Okta, and SailPoint. Strong analytical skills and detail orientation are essential.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to manage and enhance their user identity and access control systems in Kimberley . This role is critical for ensuring that the right individuals have appropriate access to necessary resources while preventing unauthorized access. You will be responsible for the implementation, administration, and ongoing maintenance of IAM solutions, including provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, and policy enforcement. Join a team focused on maintaining robust security controls for sensitive data and systems within the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain IAM platforms, including single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.
• Manage the lifecycle of user identities, including creation, modification, and deletion of accounts and access privileges.
• Conduct regular access reviews and certifications to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and enforce least privilege principles across all systems and applications.
• Respond to and resolve IAM-related incidents and service requests.
• Develop and update documentation for IAM processes, procedures, and configurations.

Requirements
