Role Details

Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in Ontario, Canada)

Duration: 85 days with an option to extend for 45 days at the manager's discretion

Background

Ontario Health's ONEID service is a secure identity solution used across health organizations in Ontario, based on Oracle Identity Access Management suite, including Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Unified Directory (OUD), and other systems. The project involves configuring and setting up Oracle 12C OAM and OUD for interoperability with existing systems, ensuring a smooth upgrade and transition.

Must Haves

• Minimum 12 years' experience as a solution Architect on Oracle Identity Access Management systems (10G, 11G, 12C), with successful end-to-end solution modeling and implementation.
• At least 3 years of solution development experience with Oracle 12C OAM and OUD.
• Minimum 7 years of experience setting up 11G and 12C OAM and OUD in active-active multi-data center configurations.
• Over 10 years of integration experience with Oracle IAM suite, including OAM, OIM, OUD/OVD, and related technologies.
• Extensive experience tuning Oracle IAM suites for high availability on WebLogic and Linux.
• Must be associated with a recognized Gold Oracle IAM Partner for over 7 years.
• Expertise in Security Assertion Mark-up Language (SAML 2.0) and OAuth 2.0.
• Knowledge of TLS/SSL and PKI for Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Ability to translate conceptual architecture into logical and physical designs, and articulate technical issues clearly.
• Proven ability to produce detailed design, deployment, and integration documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and configure Oracle 12C OAM, OIM, OUD, and EAS 2.0 in active-active MDC setups.
• Integrate 12C systems with existing 10G ONE ID systems for interoperability.
• Document design, installation, configuration, and integration procedures.
• Collaborate with application and architecture teams to resolve cross-domain and configuration issues.
• Coordinate with other Ontario Health teams (database, networking, infrastructure).
• Provide weekly updates to team leads and project manager.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Oracle IAM Suite Plus, Microsoft Active Directory, and general IAM best practices.
• Integration experience with business applications and troubleshooting skills.
• Development experience with Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), Governance (OIG), and SSO federation.
• Knowledge of IT security technologies like encryption, PKI, TLS/SSL.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Oracle Enterprise Manager, IBM Tivoli).
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, JIRA, Confluence, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, vendors, and external organizations.
• Understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years' experience as a solution Architect on Oracle IAM systems (10G, 11G, 12C).
• At least 3 years of solution development with 12C, and 7+ years with 11G Oracle OAM and OUD in active-active configurations.
• Recognition as a Gold Oracle IAM Partner for over 7 years.
• Experience deploying Oracle 12C OAM and OUD on Red Hat OpenShift.
• Development experience in SSO federation.

Deliverables

• Configuration of Oracle 12C OAM, OUD, and database in multiple environments.
• Integration of 12C OAM with existing 10G systems for SSO.
• Resolution of integration issues with OIM and databases.
• Repeatable deployment methods for 12C OAM policies.
• Design and development of a comprehensive 12C MDC IAM platform for ONE ID.
• All related design and implementation documentation.

Knowledge Transfer

• Ensure full knowledge transfer to Ontario Health before engagement end.
• Provide design, development, and system documentation for review and sign-off.
• Conduct demos and walkthroughs of solutions, codes, and interfaces.
• Deliver a detailed migration plan for 12C OAM from 11G OIF.
• Complete solution reviews and documentation on OH Confluence or SharePoint.
