University Health Network in Toronto is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide 24/7 respiratory therapy across ICUs, ED, ORs, PACU and Hyperbaric Medicine Unit. This permanent, full-time role offers diverse patient care in a high-acuity environment.

The successful candidate will have graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, registration in Ontario, and experience in adult critical care; hyperbaric work experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registration with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists.
• Registered with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario.
• Hyperbaric Medical Technologist (CHT) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assisting airway management and responding to cardiac/respiratory events.
• Administer specialty aerosolized and MDI medications.
• Serve as resource for nurses and allied health staff in Respiratory care.
• Teach patients the use of Respiratory Therapy equipment.
• Perform bedside diagnostics (spirometry, O2 sat, ABG) and manage oxygen therapy.
• Assist with bronchoscopies and ventilated patient care per protocols.
