Job Title: Ice Cream Risk Supervisor | America’s Finance Control and Compliance

Job Purpose:

Your role is to galvanize the organization—including headquarters, factories, logistics, and partner ecosystems—to be vigilant about controls and to take proper actions to protect our business. It is everyone's responsibility to promote stewardship, and you will play a key role in emphasizing this message.

Ice Cream is on a journey to accelerate growth and profitability, aiming for consistent, competitive growth and increasing profits ahead of sales to create value. Your role is crucial to our success and to protecting our assets and reputation.

You will establish and maintain a strong governance model for company policies and procedures, applying risk and control concepts to new and existing business models, communicating findings to leadership, and partnering with cross-functional teams to design workflows supporting risk reduction.

The role reports directly to the America’s Finance Senior Manager Controls and Compliance, providing visibility, assurance, and guidance on business risk management, audits, and value protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Become a subject matter expert on the Global Financial Control Framework (GFCF) and assist control stakeholders with implementation.
  2. Lead local change management for updates to documentation, processes, and ways of working as new standards or system changes occur.
  3. Establish and maintain a governance process to ensure all policies and procedures are current.
  4. Familiarize with supply chain finance activities related to controls to guide control testing.
  5. Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, working closely with manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain functions.
  6. Assist with internal financial control assessments, audits, track findings, develop action plans, and ensure remediation.
  7. Support innovation and transition projects by reviewing process designs and performing control impact assessments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Understanding of various business functions and their interconnections.
  • Expertise in SOX compliance, auditing, and risk management.
  • Experience designing, controlling, and evaluating business operations for effectiveness.
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and ensure accountability.
  • Effective communication skills with finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Over 3 years of experience in finance, especially in risk, controls, and compliance roles.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay ranges from $84,000 to $126,000, based on skills, experience, and organizational needs. The position is bonus eligible. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, parental leave, paid vacation, holidays, and voluntary benefits.
