City of Windsor is hiring an Arena Skate Patrol – Student Employment Lottery. Rate of pay is $17.95 per hour with up to 25 hours per week and shift work required. Lottery-based selection is used to determine who is hired; posting is external with a limited window.

Eligibility includes being at least 15, a full-time student, and returning to full-time attendance in September 2026. Applicants must provide SIN digits for the lottery and be able to work evenings/weekends where required.

Qualificações

• Must have excellent customer service and public relations skills.
• Must be a minimum of 15 years of age at time of application.
• Must have completed Ontario Secondary School Grade 10 education or equivalent or will obtain within 1 year of hire date.
• Must be a full-time student attending post-secondary or secondary education.
• Must be attending school full-time at time of application and returning to full-time attendance in September 2026.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor behaviour of public skaters to ensure health and safety.
• Assist skaters as required.
• Provide safe supervision on and off the ice as per Public Skating Safety Rules.
• Prepare incident reports as required.
• Perform Occupational Health and Safety duties as outlined by Corporate Health and Safety program.
• Other related duties as assigned.
