Job summary

Coastal Cardiology PC is seeking a part-time Facility Maintenance Operator II, Community Services (North) for Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon locations. The role covers arena maintenance, ice resurfacing, cleaning, and revenue handling with varied shifts up to 24 hours per week from September to March.

The ideal candidate has experience in arenas or willingness to learn, mechanical aptitude, and valid Ontario G license. A criminal record check and skill testing are required after offer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in arenas/ice operations or willingness and ability to learn
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience with preventive maintenance of various types of equipment preferred
• Excellent customer-service, effective oral communication and strong interpersonal skills to deal with members of the public and staff
• First Aid and CPR preferred
• Possess and maintain a valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence
• Upon a conditional offer of employment, an acceptable Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search, will be required

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of community centres and arenas
• Ice re-surfacing and maintenance
• Cleaning of washrooms and building
• Assist in the collection of facility revenue
• Perform other related duties as assigned
