Job summary

NETINT Technologies Inc. in Canada is seeking an IC design engineer for a full-time role in Burnaby or Markham. You will work with system architects and design leads on subsystem design within SoCs, delivering RTL that meets specs, and supporting FPGA verification and system validation.

You should have 3–5 years of IC/FPGA design, solid Verilog/SystemVerilog skills, and strong debugging and documentation abilities. This is a hands-on startup environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• MS or BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of IC or FPGA design experience.
• Solid RTL coding skills in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Strong HW/system debug skills.
• Experience with verification methodology and test coverage.
• Desire to work in an energetic startup environment.
• Clear communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand the requirements for the subsystems.
• Participate in subsystem micro-architecture and IP vendor selection.
• Write or understand subsystem documentation.
• Deliver RTL that meets specifications and performance.
• Build test benches and verify RTL if required.
• Test logic and interactions between HW/FW in FPGA environments.
• Build FPGA using Xilinx Vivado tools and release to System team for testing.
• Support backend flows and system validation/debug.
• Support customer bring up.
