Job summary

Drayden Insurance Ltd. in Stony Plain seeks an Independent Business Unit Coordinator to grow our small business client base through focused customer service, account development and new business opportunities.

You will provide quotes, sell policies, up-sell services, and build relationships with clients and carriers while staying current on products, regulations, and internal training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Must have General Level 1 or 2 insurance license.
• Experience in insurance or client service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with their daily insurance needs in person or through technology
• Provide quotes and sell new policies to clients
• Upselling of products and services to new and existing clients
• Generate client referrals through community involvement and events
• Follow up on client accounts to resolve outstanding matters
• Make timely renewal calls for existing client business
• Remain up to date on product knowledge and build relationships with insurance providers
• Commit to self-development through internal training and industry education
• Extensive knowledge of insurance company products, programs and payment plans
• Providing advice to clients on insurance matters, products, and coverage
• Resolving client concerns
• Developing existing client accounts
• Meeting sales and service goals

What You Bring to the Team:
