Job summary

Alquemy Search & Consulting is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to coordinate cross-department projects for new product introductions. This in-office role is based in Mississauga, near the airport, and requires collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Service, and other teams.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of hardware or software development, understands waterfall and hybrid delivery, and communicates effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of Hardware and/or Software development
• PMP certification (nice to have)
• Experience within a waterfall and hybrid project delivery methods
• Strong communication skills across multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Service, and cross-functional teams to translate product strategy into executable project plans within the New Product Development (NPD) framework
• Build stakeholder alignment by communicating project deliverables, milestones, risks, and progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive process discipline and accountability throughout the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of projects
• Develop and maintain project plans and status reports, coordinate project resources, engage cross-functional teams to provide quality analyses, coordinate beta plans, track and report defects and defect resolution, complete final documentation, training, and coordinate product launch plans

Job description

12 month contract position, with potential to extend.

This is an in-office position, 5 days per week.

The office is in Mississauga, very close to the airport.

Seeking an I.T. Project Coordinator whose primary role is to coordinate the execution of cross-departmental projects for new product introductions.

Products and applications are hardware, software or integrated hardware and software offerings, therefore experience with new product launch for hardware platforms as well as software integration are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Service, and cross-functional teams to translate product strategy into executable project plans within the New Product Development (NPD) framework
• Build stakeholder alignment by communicating project deliverables, milestones, risks, and progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive process discipline and accountability throughout the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of projects

$40 - $45 per hour for an incorporated consultant

Based on 40 hours per week.
