Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator to support healthcare-based IT initiatives. This is a 1-year contract position with strong potential for extension. The successful candidate will assist in coordinating IT projects, ensuring structured execution, accurate documentation, and timely delivery of project milestones.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to basic computer systems and network infrastructure, strong documentation skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced healthcare IT environment.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Project Coordination and Project Management practices
  • Knowledge and experience in Information Technology systems and projects
  • Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating project progress and problem-solving
  • Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain organizational efficiency and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience working in IT or project management environments is preferred
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Project, JIRA, or other project management software is a plus
Key Responsibilities
  • Support end-to-end coordination of healthcare IT projects
  • Assist in defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with IT and operational stakeholders
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, trackers, meeting minutes, and status reports
  • Coordinate communication between IT teams, vendors, and healthcare stakeholders
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, and infrastructure initiatives
  • Ensure proper documentation of processes, configurations, and project artifacts
  • Assist in tracking risks, issues, and action items to ensure timely resolution
  • Travel as required, including travel outside the province, to support project needs
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT coordination or project support roles
  • Hands-on experience with basic computer hardware, software, and network infrastructure
  • Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating project progress and problem-solving
  • Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders
