Job summary

Insight Global seeks an Intermediate Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support a major capital project in Regina, SK. You will provide technical oversight of I&C deliverables, support system integration, and work with contractors, operations, and stakeholders through engineering, construction, and commissioning.

You will help with control room expansion, migration activities, FAT/SAT testing, and startup readiness, leveraging 4+ years in I&C and a Canadian P.Eng.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Instrumentation & Controls engineering experience.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
• Canadian P.Eng. designation (strong EIT candidates).
• Experience with DCS and SIS systems; control logic and narratives; instrumentation selection and specs; P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Review instrument data sheets, control narratives, and instrumentation selections.
• Support DCS and SIS design and integration activities.
• Participate in design reviews, equipment reviews, and technical workshops.
• Assist with control room expansion and control system migration initiatives.
• Support FAT and SAT testing activities; commissioning assistance.
• Conduct field investigations; provide site feedback to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, vendors, and EPC contractors.
