Job summary

Associated Engineering in Saskatoon is seeking an experienced Intermediate/Senior EIC Engineer to lead electrical design and technical delivery for industrial, municipal, and water/wastewater projects across Western Canada.

You will collaborate with engineers, technologists, and support staff to provide electrical engineering services, and drive design, project delivery, and business development of power and automation systems with instrumentation for monitoring LV/MV networks and facilities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5-15 years of relevant experience in a professional engineering workplace.
• Registered and in good standing as a P.Eng. with APEGS.
• Experience in designing medium and low voltage electrical systems, automation, metering, switchgear, MCCs, lighting, alarms and security systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Committed team player with self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical delivery focused on electrical, with some instrumentation and controls for industrial, municipal, water and wastewater facilities.
• Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and support staff to provide electrical engineering services.
• Engage in design, project management, and business development of power and automation systems, including monitoring solutions for various LV/MV systems.
• Work on projects such as water and wastewater treatment plants, industrial sites, and related facilities across Western Canada.
• Mentor and support junior and intermediate team members; contribute to growth and skill development.
