GrizzlyTrek Group is seeking a Hydrovac Operator to work in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. The role involves operating a hydrovac unit for daylighting, potholing, and trenching around live pipelines, with day shifts, overtime, and occasional call-outs.

Candidates should have hydrovac or vac truck experience and hold a Class 3 licence with air brake; Class 1 preferred, plus required safety tickets. Starting immediately, the position offers long-term, full-time work across west central Alberta,

Qualifications

• Hydrovac operating experience or vac truck/combo unit experience
• Class 3 licence with air brake (Q) endorsement, Class 1 preferred, clean driver's abstract
• Current safety tickets: H2S Alive, First Aid with CPR, CSTS-2020 or PST, Ground Disturbance Level 2

Responsibilities

• Operate a hydrovac unit for daylighting, potholing and trenching around live pipelines and utilities
• Set up and run the wand, boom and vacuum system safely
• Expose buried facilities and read locate documents and site prints
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep the unit serviced
• Haul and dispose spoils and complete manifests and paperwork
• Complete safety permits, field tickets and required hazard assessments
• Work safely around client crews and traffic per site procedures
