Job summary

Tuc's Contracting Ltd. is seeking experienced Hydrovac Operators to join our team in Fort McMurray, AB. You will perform diverse hydrovac services and operate equipment safely, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include a valid Class 3 licence, a clean 3-year abstract, 3–5 years of hydrovac experience, and solid English communication. Camp accommodations and meals are provided, with above-average wages and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 Driver's Licence.
• Clean 3-year commercial driver's abstract.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hydrovac experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Must have required safety certifications (First Aid, CSTS/OSSA, etc.).
• Must be eligible to access major oil sands sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrovac equipment safely and efficiently.
• Participate in all safety initiatives.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Complete daily timecards and required paperwork.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Tuc's Contracting Ltd. is currently seeking experienced Hydrovac Operators to join our team.

Job Summary

As a Hydrovac Operator, you will safely perform a variety of hydrovac services, including:

• Utility locating
• Trenching
• Tank cleaning and debris removal
• Piling and pole hole excavation
• Dewatering
• Small pipe flushing
• Equipment cleaning (with or without chemicals)
• Hydrotesting

Additional responsibilities include:

• Operating hydrovac equipment safely and efficiently
• Participating in all company safety initiatives
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
• Completing daily timecards and required paperwork
• Maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards

Schedule

• 14/7

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 Driver's Licence
• Clean 3-year commercial driver's abstract
• Minimum 3-5 years of hydrovac experience
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Valid First Aid, CSTS, OSSA, Ground Disturbance, Confined Space Entry, Confined Space Monitor, and Fall Protection certifications
• Must be eligible to access major oil sands sites (no active site bans)
