Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Mississauga seeks a Workday HCM Specialist to configure and support Workday Core HCM, including worker data, job and position management, and organizational structures. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT to deliver scalable solutions, ensure data integrity, and optimize core processes; two in-office days per week.

You will also contribute to testing, deployments, and training materials.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday Core HCM.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM configuration, business processes, organizational structures, and staffing models.
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT.

Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and support Workday Core HCM processes.
Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and IT teams to deliver scalable Workday solutions.
Own onboarding, hiring, job changes, transfers, promotions, terminations, and organizational assignments.
Maintain foundational Workday HCM configuration and related system objects.
Troubleshoot complex HCM issues and coordinate resolutions across functional areas.
Monitor data quality and system integrity through audits and testing.
Lead testing, deployments, and change requests for Workday releases.
Develop system documentation and end-user training materials.
Provide guidance on Workday HCM functionality across the organization.
Support a hybrid work environment with in-office presence two days/week.
