Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited in Kingston or Ottawa is seeking a Transportation Engineering Graduate to join our Transportation team. You will contribute to preliminary and detailed design for municipal and provincial projects.

The role supports engineers, planners and environmental scientists across design, drafting and studies, with opportunities for the Early Career Development program and flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• A degree in civil engineering.
• Eligible for registration as an engineer-in-training within six months.
• 0–2 years of experience in a consulting environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with coordination of transportation projects.
• Assist in design of transportation projects including preliminary and detailed design.
• Prepare engineering studies and technical specifications.
• Design calculations and transportation drafting using CAD software.
• Assist with site investigations and condition assessments.
• Review safe work practices and perform risk assessments.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, environmental scientists, technologists and staff.
