Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited is seeking a Transportation Designer to join our Transportation Infrastructure team in a full-time, hybrid role based out of any of our Ontario offices: Ottawa, Kingston, Toronto, Vaughn, Oakville, Hamilton, London, Kitchener, Chatham or Windsor.

You will provide technical and design support on preliminary and detailed transportation projects for the Ministry of Transportation and local municipalities, collaborating with engineers, planners and environmental scientists

Qualifications

Degree in civil or transportation engineering or diploma in civil engineering technology.
Licensed to practice as engineer-in-training in Ontario, or eligible within six months.
1–2 years’ work experience; consulting exposure is an asset; new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

Technical project work: coordinate and assist in transportation project design.
Draft transportation plans using CAD software and support site investigations.
Assist with safety reviews, risk assessments and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Support business development activities and participate in Early Career Development.
