Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited seeks a Transportation Engineering Graduate to join our Transportation team in Kingston or Ottawa. The role supports hybrid work arrangements and provides exposure to design projects for MTO and local municipalities.

We welcome graduates with an engineering degree and EIT eligibility, offering a collaborative environment, professional development, and opportunities in design, drafting, and business development.

Qualifications

• A degree in civil engineering.
• Registered as an engineer-in-training, or be eligible within six months.
• 0–2 years' experience, preferably in the consulting industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with coordination of transportation projects.
• Assist in the design of transportation projects including preliminary and detailed design.
• Engineering studies, technical specifications and design calculations.
• Transportation drafting using CAD software.
• Assist with site investigations and condition assessments; perform risk assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including engineers, planners, environmental scientists, engineering technologists and administrative staff.
• Contribute to business development activities and Early Career Development program.
