Job summary

Telecon is seeking a Project Coordinator for Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) to coordinate QL-A investigations, liaise with clients, and manage project schedules in a hybrid Vaughan office setting.

The role requires 3+ years of SUE experience, strong AutoCAD and MicroStation skills, and a Civil Engineering background. A one-year contract with potential for permanent placement is offered, with compensation at an hourly rate of $31.25–$36.00.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant SUE experience (as either a CAD Technician or Project Coordinator).
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering is an asset.
• Customer focused both internally and externally.
• Attention to details & excellent time management skills.
• Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with an upbeat attitude.
• Proven organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to lead technical meetings with customers and internally, improving efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all aspects of the projects (utility records, schedule, financial, technical, and contractual).
• Interfaces with clients on project updates and requirements.
• Interfaces with third party organizations for permit approvals.
• Prepares and quality checks On1Call and traffic control plans.
• Prepares supporting documentation for invoicing and project reporting.
• Tracks and maintains project schedule and budget.
• Manages on-site SUE activities when required (<5%).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
